Bird Call
A traditional quality bird call for your bird lover. John James Audubon, the noted American illustrator and ornithologist, thought up the “Bird Call“ whistle in 1951. It has two unusual features: firstly – and uniquely – it doesn’t try to imitate the song of any particular bird, but is able to attract the attention of a wide variety of song-birds; secondly, it belongs to the small and select sub-category of bird whistles that you don’t need to blow – it works mechanically, activated by twisting the metal plug in its beech-wood casing backwards and forwards. The resulting friction then produces the twittering noises that attracts the curiosity of nearby birds to come closer for a little look. Small and easy to use. Also great for storytelling and special effects!
Made in New England /USA of cast aluminium and birch-wood.
Comes with extra rosin to renew the sound of the bird call when needed.
